1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using GoSlovenia's website (ljubljana-slovenia.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access our platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of the platform.
2. Services Description
GoSlovenia is a travel platform that provides information about destinations in Slovenia and facilitates bookings for guided tours, bus tickets, transport services, and travel-related experiences. We act as an intermediary between travelers and local tour operators, transport companies, and service providers. The actual services (tours, transport, accommodations) are provided by third-party operators.
3. Bookings & Payments
3.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from GoSlovenia. Availability is subject to change until confirmation is issued. We reserve the right to cancel unconfirmed bookings.
3.2 Pricing
All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. Promotional codes and discounts are subject to specific terms and expiration dates.
3.3 Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are processed securely through our payment partners.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
4.1 Customer Cancellations
- More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund minus a €5 administrative fee
- 24–48 hours before departure: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund
- No-show: No refund
4.2 Cancellations by GoSlovenia or Operators
If a tour or service is cancelled by GoSlovenia or the service provider due to weather conditions, safety concerns, insufficient participants, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook on an alternative date at no extra charge.
5. User Responsibilities
When using our platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when making bookings
- Ensure you have valid travel documents (passport, visa) for your trip
- Arrive at designated meeting points on time for tours and transport services
- Follow the instructions and safety guidelines of tour guides and operators
- Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
- Not reproduce, duplicate, or exploit any part of our website content without permission
6. Limitation of Liability
GoSlovenia acts as an intermediary and is not directly responsible for the services provided by third-party operators. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity that may occur during tours, transport, or other services arranged through our platform. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question. We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before their trip.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on ljubljana-slovenia.com — including text, images, graphics, logos, icons, and software — is the property of GoSlovenia or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent. Limited personal, non-commercial use of travel guides for trip planning is permitted.
8. Travel Insurance
GoSlovenia strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, personal liability, and loss of belongings. Travel insurance is the responsibility of the traveler. GoSlovenia does not provide insurance coverage.
9. Force Majeure
GoSlovenia shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government actions, strikes, civil unrest, or technical failures. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements or refunds.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia. For EU consumers, this does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes via email or website notice.
